We would like to introduce Shaan Malhotra, who has joined UCLH Private Healthcare as our new assistant general manager. Shaan will support our general manager in the operational management of all our private wards, making sure that there is a positive experience for our patients, consultants and staff.

Shaan joined us after a period of leading bereavement, mortuary and medical examiner services for the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

Prior to this, he was the customer service lead across Imperial Private Healthcare's five London sites, ensuring that all aspects the non-clinical care patients, carers and families received was of the highest standard. He also established the first NHS private healthcare partnership with the Independent Sector Complaints Adjudication Service (ISCAS), ensuring the organisation could learn across all aspects of care, even when the patient had concerns.

Shaan also has an MSc in applied psychology. He is dedicated to ensuring that all elements of the service he provides are delivered with compassion, safety and efficiency.
