Our private maternity ward, The Fitzrovia Suite, is currently closed while the facility undergoes a complete refurbishment, which means we are unable to offer any dedicated private maternity rooms until January 2022.
Once the work is completed our patients will enjoy the benefits of our fully refurbished private unit, which has been designed to the highest standards of comfort, clinical utility and infection control. All the private post-natal rooms and en-suite bathrooms are being fully refurbished, and we are also creating a brand new private reception and waiting area.
There will also be two new dedicated private birthing suites, meaning we will be able to offer a private natural delivery service from next year, alongside our C-section service. Alongside the physical environment, we are also refreshing and improving our support services, to give our patients the best possible clinical and customer experience.
We hope our new environment and other service enhancements will help to make those first few hours and days as family even more special.
If you have any questions about the refurbishment, or about booking your birth in the newly refurbished Fitzrovia suite from the new year, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
The Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing of University College Hospital is home to our private maternity ward, The Fitzrovia Suite. As we are part of a large, multi-specialty hospital, both patients and their babies will have immediate access to the hospital’s specialty services such as special baby care unit (SCBU), neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or intensive care unit, if it is required, making UCLH one of the safest private environments to have your baby. We also offer our private fertility service at the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing.
University Hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology and has spectacular views across London.
The hospital is located on Euston Road, within walking distance of Euston mainline train station and a number of London Underground stations including Warren Street and Goodge Street.
