Welcoming consultant obstetrician Miss Shalini Chawla

Miss Shalini Chawla has joined UCLH Private Healthcare offering private maternity services. 

Miss Chawla has been a consultant obstetrician since 2016 and is the postnatal lead at UCLH NHS Trust. She works regularly on the labour ward covering both emergencies and elective work. Her background is in postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology (UK) and general surgery (India), with advanced training in maternal medicine. 

She is passionate about empowering women to make informed choices and runs the antenatal clinic at UCLH offering various options available to them. Kind and empathetic, she provides a high level of care supporting women through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
