The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) has announced that it will take industrial action on Thursday 26 January. As a result, its members that work at UCLH will be on strike on this day.

CSP members will also be taking strike action on Thursday 9 Feb, though we are yet to hear if this will take place at UCLH.

We are working with the CSP to make sure we can continue to provide key emergency and urgent services on strike days.

London Ambulance workers are also taking strike action on Monday 23 January.

If we need to rearrange any appointments, we will contact patients directly to let them know. If you have an appointment at any of our hospitals, please assume this is going ahead unless you have been told otherwise. If you’re concerned and feel you need to speak to someone, please contact your consultant or call us on 020 3448 4260.

Please note that if your situation is a life-threatening emergency you should still call 999.

The normal working hours for the Communications Unit are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. The only media enquiries that will be answered outside of these working hours are urgent enquiries and those relating to major incidents. To access the out-of-hours service, call the switchboard on 020 3456 7890.
