We are delighted to welcome Dr Talha Elyas to the UCLH Private Healthcare team.

Dr Elyas (known as Elyas) has taken up the newly created role of International patient's office manager, as part of our continued commitment to support international patients and embassy relations.

Elyas graduated from Albert Szent-Györgyi University School of Medicine in 1999. He trained, volunteered and worked at various prestigious hospitals including Cedars Sinai Hospital (LA, California) and St Sebestyen Clinic (Budapest Hungary). He then joined the PhD school at the Semmelweis Medical University where he worked at the National Institute of Dermato-Venorology and trained at the human virology laboratory.

In 2002 he moved to London, where he initially worked for the United Arab Emirates embassy medical department as an interpreter, medical coordinator and visiting doctor.

He then worked The Royal Marsden Hospital as an advocate, clinical liaison and advocacy manager, followed by three years at Imperial Private Healthcare as the Head of International Development where he established the International patient's office.

For the last six years Elyas has been working at Guy's and St Thomas Hospital as their International Business Development Manager, where he also established the International patient's office.
