Professional background
Professor Rudenko is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).
He founded the London Allergy & Immunology Centre in 2011, originally as a single-practice clinic, which has since expanded into a multidisciplinary team including allergy, immunology, dermatology, ENT, pediatric allergy, and more.
He oversees allergy & immunology services for babies, children, and adults.
Research interests
His research and interest highlights include:
- Allergy, asthma, including sub-lingual specific immunotherapy in children, adolescents, and adults.
- Immunology of herpes viruses (e.g. Epstein-Barr virus, cytomegalovirus CMV), including work on recurrent herpes / prevention of EBV / CMV infection.
- Frequent unexplained infections, immunodeficiency/immune disorders (immunological assessment).
- Urticaria and angioedema (both chronic urticaria/inducible urticaria and angioedema).
- Use of digital/mobile health technologies in allergy care (mHealth).
